Adventure Race, 8 a.m. in Danforth

Join the students of East Grand School for an annual adventure race that will involve a 1.5-mile off-trail compass run, a 10-mile mountain bike race, 8 miles of paddling, and some obstacles. Competitors can race in pairs, groups or individually. The entry fee is $20 per person, which includes a T-shirt, lunch and prizes for youth divisions. Proceeds benefit the school’s outdoor education program. The registration deadline is May 13. Join York County Audubon as photographer Michael Milicia presents a selection of bird images with commentary to inform, entertain and inspire.
