The fund raiser and awareness campaign for The Travis Mills Foundation will raise funds to be used toward the construction of a fitness center at the lodge for combat wounded veterans according to a news release from GEvolution Fitness in Augusta. So far more than $9,000 has been raised.

The ride will consist of five legs: Millinocket to Bangor, Bangor to Waterville, Waterville to South Portland, South Portland to Lewiston and Lewiston to Rome, the location of The Maine Chance Lodge.

Donations can also be made payable to the Travis Mills Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 8152, Winslow, ME 04901. Write Hike & Bike in the memo line.
