LEWISTON — Three players scored two goals each as the Messalonskee girls lacrosse team remained unbeaten by handing Lewiston its first loss in an 8-2 win Thursday.

Lauren Pickett, Ally Turner and Lydia Dexter each scored two goals for Messalonskee (6-0) while India Languet and Nathalie St. Pierre had one apiece. Sydni Collier made five saves.

Kristina Blais and Morgan Eliason scored for Lewiston (6-1). Kaylyn Labonte stopped three shots in the cage.

GARDINER 11, WINSLOW 2: Nickyia Lovely and Hailee Lovely each had a hat trick to spark the host Tigers to the Class B North win.

Maddy Beaulieu added two goals for Gardiner (2-3) while Evelyn Hinkley, Abi Engle and Madeline Walker had one apiece. Kaylin Mansir made six saves.

Heather Kervin and Sarah Stevenson scored for Winslow (0-5). Ashlyn Parker stopped five shots.

EDWARD LITTLE 7, CONY 4: Brooke Lever had a hat trick to spark the Red Eddies to their first win of the season, in Augusta.

Kaylee Jipson added two goals for Edward Little (1-5) while Franchesca Haines and Megan Steele had one apiece. Miriah Vailencourt made 15 saves.

Savanna Poulin scored three goals for Cony (4-2) and Annie Brannigan had one. Lizzy Dennison made eight saves.

ERSKINE 10, LAWRENCE 2: Katelyn Hustus had two goals and an assist to spark the Eagles to the win in Fairfield.

Audrey Jordan added two goals for Erskine (5-2) while Hayley Hinds had a goal and three assists and Christina Hodgkins had a goal and two assists. Keeley Gomes, Kaitlyn Darveau, Ella Johnson and Jaime Boudreau also scored for Erskine. Malory Weaver made nine saves.

McKenna Rogers and Cassandra Poli scored for Lawrence (0-7). Ashlee Doyon made eight saves.


WINSLOW 10, LINCOLN 1: Paige Veilleux had a triple, two singles and two RBIs to spark the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Newcastle.

Kiana Richards added a double, two singles and two RBIs for Winslow (8-1) while Liz Pullen had a double, a single and an RBI. Hillary Libby tossed a three-hitter, striking out nine.

Lincoln falls to 4-5.


WINSLOW 5, LINCOLN 0: Nate Gagnon pitched a four-hitter, striking out six and walking three to spark the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Newcastle.

Jake Trask led the offense with three singles, an RBI and a run scored for Winslow (8-1). Dameron Rodrigue added two singles, two runs scored and an RBI while Trenton Bouchard had two singles.

Matt Tonnfell had three of the four hits for Lincoln (2-7).
