The Farmingdale Chapter of the Spirit of America and the Farmingdale Historical Society recently honored two of Hall-Dale High School’s teachers with the Spirit of America Foundation Tribute.

Kendra Guiou and Jeremy Porter received awards, gift cards and copies of Farmingdale’s 150th edition of the town’s history.

Guiou is a math teacher, and is also involved with the creation and design of the yearbook.

Porter is associated with the Jobs for Maine Graduates and he hosts the Special Olympics.

These teachers go above and beyond for their devotion to helping students to obtain the skills needed to choose career paths.

Farmingdale Selectmen were on hand to congratulate these teachers for their community service.
