On June 14, Democratic primary voters will have the chance to vote for Shenna Bellows for state Senate.

Shenna and I worked together in a coalition to defend needed mental health services for children and adults in Maine. Shenna showed an extraordinary commitment and did whatever was needed to accomplish the goal. She helped build bipartisan support for the issue in the Legislature. She clearly understood what’s at stake for children and families in our state.

Maine faces many challenges, including mental health and addiction, that are tearing at our communities, and I’m confident that Shenna has the leadership and experience to confront these challenges to advance health and safety for all. I hope my fellow neighbors in Chelsea and in the 10 other towns of District 14 (Farmingdale, Gardiner, Hallowell, Manchester, Monmouth, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, West Gardiner and Winthrop) will join me in voting for Shenna Bellows.
