Kennebec County suffered a significant loss last year with the death of Commissioner Beverly Daggett. Her experience, character and work ethic will be hard to replace.

But I believe that Patsy Crockett, who worked together with Daggett on many county issues, is the ideal person to be elected to fill the seat. Patsy has been appointed by the governor to temporarily fill the position, but she needs our support at the June 14 primary in order to be elected to complete Daggett’s unfinished work.

I urge Democratic voters in Augusta, Chelsea, China, Manchester, Sidney, Vassalboro and Windsor to support Patsy Crockett at the June election. She has demonstrated that she is best able to begin filling the shoes of Beverly Daggett.
