ELMIRA, NY — Chris Hall, an Oakland, Maine, native, recently graduated from Elmira College, Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor degred in chemistry. Hall was inducted into the Beta Beta Beta Honor Society in recognition of his excellence in biology. nd he is also a founding member and treasurer of the Elmira College chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon Honor Society recognizing excellence in chemistry.

During his four years at Elmira, he has done extensive research at the Gerace Research Center San Salvador, The Bahamas, on the impact of sunscreen on the local coral. He has also been part of a team developing a laboratory instrument to automate chemical synthesis of common lab compounds. e presented papers on his work at conferences in Atlanta and San Diego during his senior year.Hall

Hall, a 2012 Messalonskee High School graduate, plans to enter graduate school this fall at St. John Fisher Wegman’s School of Pharmacy, Rochester New York, to pursue a doctor of pharmacy degree.

He is the son of Jill and Brian Hall, now of Lindley, New York.
