WORCESTER, Mass. — The following local residents were among 1,292 students named to the 2016 spring semester dean’s list at Worcester Polytechnic Institute:

Arianna Nitzel, of Farmingdale, Maine, a senior majoring in biochemistry; Mikayla Bolduc, of Skowhegan, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering; Madison Michaud, of Vassalboro, a freshman majoring in biomedical engineering; Ryanne Dailey, of Carthage, Maine, a junior majoring in chemical engineering; and Julia Pershken, of Albion, a junior majoring in civil engineering.

WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
