After witnessing several times people who don’t live in Fairfield place articles on trash piles on Fairfield taxpayer’s properties, I believe it is time for the people in Fairfield to go back to the old method. We should eliminate the annual trash pickup at taxpayers’ homes.
At our home when we purchase a new appliance, mattress or furniture, we usually have an agreement with the dealer to take the old one. If the dealer doesn’t agree, we go to another dealer. Many businesses have a large dumpster near their business to accommodate this situation.
I for one don’t believe we should be taking trash from other towns by the method that the town is doing. End it!
