KITTERY — Becca Ackerson tossed a one-hitter to spark No. 5 Hall-Dale past No. 4 Traip 3-0 in a Class C South softball quarterfinal Thursday.

Ackerson also had 11 strikeouts and two walks, and helped her own cause at the plate with a two-run double. Grace Begin chipped in three singles and an RBI for Hall-Dale (11-6) while Jill Whynot had a double and a single. The Bulldogs will take on No. 1 Madison in the semifinals on Saturday.

Traip finishes its season at 10-7.

SKOWHEGAN 6, BANGOR 1: Sydney Reed hit a double and a single to help No. 6 Skowhegan take the Class A North quarterfinal win in Bangor.

Skowhegan, now 10-7, will face No. 2 Oxford Hills (12-4-1) on Saturday. No. 3 Bangor ends the season at 11-6.

Skowhegan scored three runs in the first inning, and added three more in the second. Sydney Ames had two singles for the Indians, while Julia Steeves doubled and singled. Ames allowed just three hits and struck out seven for the win, improving her record to 7-2.

LISBON 8, CARRABEC 4: Jasmin Le had a double and a single to spark the Greyhounds for a win in the Class C South quarterfinals in North Anson.

Ally Sult and Kate Philbrick also doubled for Lisbon (11-6).

Baylee Atwood had two singles and an RBI for Carrabec, which finishes its season as 11-6. Bailey Dunphy and Paige Chadbourne each added two singles as well.

MADISON 10, SACOPEE 0: Madeline Wood pitched a complete game, striking out seven and allowing three hits, and the Bulldogs cruised in a Class C South quarterfinal. Wood also had three hits and as many RBIs for top-seeded Madison (17-0).

The Bulldogs will host No. 5 Hall-Dale on Saturday.

OAK HILL 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: The fourth-seeded Raiders jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and Makayla Nadeau scattered four hits from the circle to make them stand up against No. 5 Cape Elizabeth in a Class B South quarterfinal in Wales.

Nadeau struck out two, walked one and hit a batter. Her batterymate, Emma Hlister, went 2 for 2 with an RBI. Abby Nadeau also had an RBI single for the Raiders (15-2), who will travel to top-seeded York for a semifinal on Saturday. Cape Elizabeth ends its season at 11-6.

TELSTAR 5, MONMOUTH 3: No. 2 Telstar scored three runs in the fifth to rally from a 3-2 deficit and defeat No. 7 Monmouth in a Class C South quarterfinal in Bethel.

Hannah Anderson went 4 for 4 with an RBI to lead Monmouth (9-9). Tia Day and Emily Kaplan also had RBI singles for the Mustangs. Becca Howard led the Rebels (15-2) with a triple and a single.

EDWARD LITTLE 4, CONY 0: Sarah Hammond allowed just three hits while striking out four to pitch the Red Eddies past the Rams in a Class A North quarterfinal in Auburn.

Karli Stubbs had two hits — including a double — and two RBIs to pace Edward Little (12-5) while Grace Beaudet chipped in with two hits as well.

Kassidy Turgeon, Skyler Watson and Cari Hopkins each had singles for Cony (11-6).
