OAKLAND — The Oakland Masons held their Books for Bikes drawings recently. Students who read books at their reading level were able to enter for a chance, for each book read, to win a bike. ​There were eight students who won a new bike, helmet and T-shirt. All students received a bookmark celebrating reading.

Those who names were drawn to win bikes were Simon Pelletier, Hannah Phair, ​Ashley Mullen ​and Ethan Glueck.

The mason who held the event were Travis Wood, Jeremy Kaherl and Dana Wrigley.
