The Belgrade Public Library has announced new options for its library patrons. Patrons can sign out single-day community passes for free or discounted admission to some local attractions. All attractions are within a one-hour drive of Belgrade and provide a variety of new experiences.

Passes are available for:

• Boothbay Railway Village, Boothbay, this pass is good for two adults plus all the children or grandchildren younger than 18;

• Children’s Discovery Museum, Augusta, good for a group of up to four people for a discounted admission fee;

• Maine State Aquarium, Boothbay Harbor, this pass is good for each member of the group (3 years old and older) for a discounted admission fee;

• Maine State Museum, Augusta, free admission for up to four people;

• Maine Wildlife Park, Gray, good for a group of up to seven people for a discounted admission fee;

• USM Southworth Planetarium, Portland, good for up to six people to attend a show free;

• Maine Department of Conservation’s State Park Pass, allows all the occupants of up to a 17 passenger vehicle free day-use;

• Farnsworth Art Museum, Rockland, free admission for two adults and children or grandchildren through the age of 18.

Patrons must have an active Belgrade library card and be in good standing to utilize passes. Passes cannot be reserved and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some restrictions may apply.
