BURLINGTON, Vt. — Six local students were named to the 2016 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Vermont.

They are: Delaney Curran, of Skowhegan, a biology major in the College of Arts and Sciences; Allyson Drummond, of Augusta, a zoology major in the College of Arts and Sciences; Melissa Petersen, of Augusta, an anthropology major in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Also, Kaitlyn Sutter, of Palermo, a professional nursing major in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences; Emily Higgins, of Waterville, an athletic training education major in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences; and Emily Listowich, of Kingfield, a natural resources major in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
