Gov. Paul LePage will be in Richmond on Wednesday for the next in his series of town hall-style meetings, his office announced Friday.
LePage, a Republican in his sixth year in office, will talk about his vision for moving the state forward and will take questions from the audience. Last month, at an event in Augusta, he said the high cost of doing business in Maine is a result of energy prices and taxes.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at Richmond High School, 132 Main St., with the event set to begin at 6 p.m.
He is also scheduled to talk about reducing the income tax, reforming welfare, cutting energy costs and high student debt, according to his press office.
