WATERVILLE — The Waterville Opera House will present a new multimedia, immersive concert experience, starting this summer. Patrons can be captivated by not just a popular touring act, but also a plethora of visual and lighting effects. Similar to the laser rock shows of yesteryear, WOH Presents will feature modern lighting and projection technologies to bring the experience to an entirely new level.

The first event is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, July 2. The concert will feature performances by Viral Sound, Chromatropic and Merther, as well as live painting by Ryan Kohler and Douglas Lakota, and projections by the visual production collective Little Village.

The lighting team from 4Life has been brought in to assist in designing the experience, and the crack team at Collective Visions is onboard for the creation of the HD web series to follow.

Tickets cost $20. For tickets, visit www.operahouse.org, call 873-7000 or visit the Box Office at 93 Main St., 3rd floor.
