The 111th Camden High School Alumni Banquet is set for Friday, Aug. 12, in the Islesboro Ballroom at Point Lookout Resort, 57 Atlantic Highway, in Northport.

Tickets cost $30 per person, deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, Aug. 5. To obtain tickets, send a check, payable to the CHS Alumni Association, to Sheila McFarland, 448 Youngtown Road, Lincolnville,ME 04849. Be sure to include a SASE for your tickets. Also include a brief informational sheet giving your year of graduation, maiden name and spouse/guest, etc.

Events will begin at 4 p.m. with a silent auction, social hour and cash bar. The dining room will open at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.

Tables will be reserved for the reunion classes of ’41, ’46, ’51, ’56, ’61 and ’66.

To donate a new or quality used items to the auction, contact David Ames at damesref@tidewater.net or 789-5118. Proceeds from the auction help defray banquet expenses.

Three Special Recognition Awards will be made. Anyone wishing to nominate a CHS alumnus for this award should call Diann Henderson at 691-3549 or email ddhenders@hotmail.com. Nominations are based on contributions to the lumni Association, community or business.

A short business meeting will follow the meal, during which reunion classes and committee members will be recognized. CHS alumni who have passed away in the last year will be remembered.
