The Sixth annual Classical Meets Pop Concert and fireworks display, featuring award winning NPR from the top alumni musicians, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3.
The five award-winning and internationally celebrated classical musicians will present a concert of classical and pop music in the Mount Vernon Community Center on Minnehonk Lake in Mount Vernon.
Featured artists include flutist Emi Ferguson, violinist Charles Yang, vocalist Kara Dugan, pianist Peter Dugan and pianist Katherine Liu.
Tickets are $10 for adult, $5 for child for indoor general admission seating. Reservations are recommended as indoor seating is limited. To order tickets, email Dan Onion dkonion@gmail.com, or call 293-2076. Guests are also encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and sit outside on the lawn to listen for free. Fireworks will follow the concert at 9:15 p.m. Concert to benefit the 30-Mile River Watershed Association and Parker Pond Association.
