Police in Hancock County are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been charged with domestic violence, criminal mischief and two counts of violation of conditions of release.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office posted a press release on its Facebook page that said 30-year-old Sean Davis of Hancock is wanted by police.

On Sunday, Deputy Jeff McFarland was called to a home in Hancock to investigate a domestic assault. Members of the Ellsworth Police Department and the Maine State Police searched the area but were unable to find Davis.

Police were called to the same residence on Monday after receiving reports that Davis slashed tires of a vehicle parked in the driveway while his children sitting in it. Davis fled and was still at large on Tuesday.

Anyone with information concerning Davis’ whereabouts should contact local police or the sheriff’s office at 667-7575.
