Melinda Diane Fowler of Winslow and Jeffrey William Brown of Sherborn, MA were married on Saturday July 9, 2016 at Kennebec Valley Baptist Church in Waterville, Maine. Mindy is the daughter of Jeff M. Fowler and the deceased Jennifer C. Fowler of Winslow. Jeffrey is the son of David and Nancy Brown of Sherborn, MA.

The officiating Pastor was Rev. John Eby, Mindy’s grandfather (Jennifer’s dad). The Maid of Honor was Sarah Fowler and the Best Man was Matthew Brown. Bridesmaids were Sarah Hickey, Ashley Vachon and Malorie Evans. Groomsmen were James Fowler, Nate Borland and Jon Ozuna.

Mindy, 25, grew up in Winslow with her mom and dad and two siblings, Sarah D. Fowler, 22, and James J.F. Fowler, 18. She graduated from Winslow High School where she played field hockey, ice hockey and tennis. Mindy graduated from Gordon College and presently works in Lynn, MA as a grade 3-5 Special Education teacher. Jeffrey is presently employed as an EMT on the North Shore of Boston and is studying to become a Physician’s Assistant.

Mindy and Jeff first met while playing club ice hockey at Gordon College. Mindy played field hockey at Gordon College while Jeffrey played baseball. The couple will reside in Beverly, MA, a neighboring town of Boston.
