A car hit a trailer home in Scarborough Monday morning, but no one was hurt, according to the fire department.
Deputy Fire Chief Tony Attardo said the crash happened about 11 a.m. on Ritzcraft Street, in the neighborhood of trailer homes near Hillcrest Avenue.
The Lexus sedan hit the home after the car’s owner apparently forget to put it in park, Attardo said
The car rolled down a hill and wedged itself under a corner of the home, knocking it off its pilings, Attardo said.
No one was home at the time of the crash, and the car was not immediately removed until the home could be properly supported.
Attardo said the car had been bought only a few days before and still had its temporary registration plates.
