OAKLAND — The Acadia Wind Ensemble will perform a summer concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Messalonskee Performing Arts Center. The ensemble is a band consisting of music educators from across Maine.

This year conductor Anthony Maiello, from George Mason University in Virginia, will return as a guest conductor for the band.

This concert is free of charge, donations are welcome.
