ROCKLAND — “Land, Sea & Air,” a solo exhibition of 65 new paintings by Irma Cerese, will open Friday, Aug. 5, and run through Sept. 11. The Artist’s Opening Reception will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, during Arts In Rockland’s first Friday art walk.

Cerese has always been fascinated with color and her primary interest in painting is focused on color relationships. Her landscape paintings border on the abstract and are seen simultaneously as both landscape and abstract.

This exhibit celebrates Cerese’s 10th anniversary with Landing Gallery, where she has an annual solo exhibit of her new paintings.
