WASHINGTON D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins recently announced that Kristin Bishop, a Madison native, has been awarded a summer internship in her Augusta Constituent Service Center. Bishop is the daughter of Frank and Vanessa Bishop.

“Kristin is an excellent student and has a strong work ethic, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Augusta Constituent Service Center,” said Senator Collins said in a news release from her office. “It is always a pleasure to give Maine students an opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve their state.”

Bishop is a junior at Bowdoin College, where she is majoring in government and legal studies and minoring in education studies. Upon graduation, she in intends to attend law school and work in government.
