It is baffling to think anyone could support slashing Medicare, let alone be “excited” about it. It is disgusting that our congressman, Bruce Poliquin, feels just this way.

He claims Medicare is “bankrupting our country.” Medicare is taking care of our seniors, and ensuring that they receive adequate health care they need and deserve. Poliquin’s grand plan is to privatize Medicare, which would leave millions of seniors at the mercy of the private insurance companies while the quality of health care declines drastically.

Meanwhile, Poliquin has thrown his full support into giving massive tax cuts for millionaires, billionaires and corporations. Perhaps before cutting Medicare and limiting health care for seniors, we could skip those tax breaks, and Poliquin could start throwing some support towards the people he is supposed to be representing.
