Jim and Marilyn (Stanium) Hegarty from Jackman celebrated their 50th anniversary at the home of their son Corey Hegarty in Jackman on June 25, 2016.
The couple were married on June 25, 1966 at St. Christophers Church in Nashua, N.H. with the Reverend Joseph A. Coyne officiating.
They moved to Jackman in 1973 with their two young sons. They owned and operated Sally Mountain Cabins until 1992. They also own and operate the Jackman Trading Post since 1981.
They have two sons Kerry Hegarty and his wife Amy, and Corey Hegarty and his girlfriend Casey all of Jackman. They also have two Granddaughters Holly Jane and Hannah Hegarty, who are both attending college in Maine.
