Building on Abbot Meader’s excellent letter (“Making the best of two lousy choices,” July 26), his last paragraph bears repeating: “You must vote. Many people died for you.”
My big worry is that Trump supporters will vote, Saunders supporters won’t, and we will have four years of bluster, blunder, incivility, snap judgements, short-sightedness, baiting or cozying up to Russia’s Putin, diminished respect in the world, diminished respect for the office and people in general, as well as disregard for the environment and future generations.
Much can be done in the next four years to ruin this country. Think. Vote.
It’s vital. There is only one sane and logical choice.
