Rep. Catherine Nadeau, D-Winslow, has been a tireless advocate for the communities in her district and across Maine during her two terms in the House of Representatives.
As House chairman of the Taxation Committee, I have been continually impressed by Nadeau’s work to protect property taxpayers and town services by opposing cuts to revenue sharing. She knows that taxpayers and residents who rely on local services such as schools and fire departments are hardest hit when the state fails to live up to its commitment to our communities. She also knows that keeping dollars in the pockets of working people is good for our economy and has been a consistent voice to do just that.
I am glad to serve alongside a legislator who is so dedicated to serving the people she represents. I am proud to support Nadeau as she runs for re-election and hope readers in her House District, which includes Winslow and part of Benton, will join me in supporting her.
