Just so you know, it’s OK to openly support both Donald Trump and Gov. Paul LePage. The Trump sign on the back of my Jeep has brought me lots of thumbs-up as I drive along Maine highways. Never once have I gotten a negative reaction, even when I wear my red Trump hat. I believe there is much more support for these great two men than the media lets on.

I am impressed with Trump’s leadership and how he turns negatives into positives. He could have continued his successful real estate career, but he has seen what most of us know, that this country has been going in the wrong direction for quite some time, and he has stepped up to try and do something about it.

Trump was not a politician before running for office. As such, he puts his foot in his mouth from time to time but speaks from the heart rather than from telling you what you want to hear just to get elected.

I look at the poor performance of Barack Obama and think of how much better we could do as a country with new leadership. I had hoped he would be at the forefront of improving racial relations and helping our black youths improve their educational levels and high unemployment numbers. After nearly eight years, I think things got worse under his leadership.

When Crooked Hillary tells us that she is going to be carrying on with the Obama way of business, I want no part of it. The lies and corruption that surround her every day makes her one of the worst candidates for president in American history. Bernie Sanders should have been allowed to have a rematch after the DNC rigged the election.
