The news reports for many years have shown the destruction caused by evil groups such as al-Qaida and Islamic State. They have killed men, women and children. They have reduced cities to rubble, and courageous fighters with automatic weapons are trying to reclaim them. Many people have been forced away from their homes, and into other countries.
The USA and other countries have offered military assistance and many lives have been lost. Over the years, the refugees from these areas have formed a large population — with the potential to retake their countries. Why not empower and coordinate these people to do just that?
It seems unfair that our soldiers should lose life and limb in these ungodly situations time and time again. These are not our countries, but theirs. It’s time for them, by the grace of God, to step up to the plate and take back what is rightfully theirs.
