On Nov. 8, voters in Belgrade, Fayette, Mount Vernon, Rome, Vienna and Wayne have the opportunity to vote for House candidate Jill Ducharme. A self-employed business owner, Jill, a Democrat, specializes in nonprofit development that greatly benefits the people of Maine. Her most recent work has focused on economic development and nature-based tourism in the Katahdin region.
Jill has proven herself to understand the needs of Maine small businesses and the communities that have seen a decline in job opportunities. Her commitment to Maine’s economic future and proven ability to forge partnerships, will be an asset to both the Legislature and the people of her district.
When I asked Jill why she’s running she replied, “As an adult, I asked myself ‘What can I do to make people’s lives better?’ I care about people and not only preserving our communities but also improving them.”
I know Jill Ducharme will work hard on behalf of both the people of her district and the state of Maine as a whole. I ask that you support her at the ballot box on Nov. 8.
