The Friends of the Pittsfield Public Library will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Warren Community Room at the Pittsfield Public Library. Topics to be discussed include the upcoming book sale and support of library programs.

All members and prospective members are invited to attend.

The Friends support quality library service through fundraising, volunteerism and serving as advocates for the library’s programs. The program provides funding for special library projects, programs and library beautification.

Current fundraising projects include used book sales and a bottle drive at the library.
