Gov. Paul LePage is the national face of the state of Maine. His words these last six years have portrayed our state in such a bad light that we not only make national news but also international news for his outrageous statements.
Our governor is divisive and detrimental to our state. In our travels out of state we have been tasked and embarrassed to answer for our governor’s words.
Our governor crossed the line a long time ago, but now apparently the majority of Mainers feel the same. There is no action that LePage can take to correct or repair all the damage he has wrought upon us other than to resign.
If our governor really cares about our state he might finally show personal character and resign for the benefit of all. Even should the governor resign, his legacy will haunt us forever.
