The Green Party’s presidential candidate will visit several campuses in the University of Maine system Wednesday as part of a New England college campuses.

Jill Stein will speak on student loans, college costs and her proposal to make public college tuition free for all students. She will also address her plans for loan forgiveness for former students who are carrying college loan debts, as well as her Green New Deal to bring living wage jobs and protect the environment.

Stein will be at Room 117 of the D.P. Corbett Business Building at the University of Maine in Orono starting at 12:30 p.m. She will speak at 6 p.m. in the Abromson Community Education Center, Room 88 B, Hannaford Hall at the University of Southern Maine.

Stein will be accompanied at her Portland appearance by Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, author of “Kingdom of the Unjust BEHIND THE U.S.–SAUDI CONNECTION.” Other Maine progressive activists and Green Party leaders will also participate in the event.
