I am a retired rabbi writing in support of Shenna Bellows, Democratic candidate for Senate District 14. I had the privilege of working with Shenna on several issues, including marriage equality, while she was with the Maine Civil Liberties Union.
Shenna has amazing energy and does her homework faithfully. She was always accessible and ready with information for those working on the issues which concerned the MCLU. She is a good listener and able to hear others’ concerns when they are different from her own. We will be fortunate to have Shenna representing District 14 in the Maine Senate.
