Come November I will be casting my ballot for Alan Tibbetts to represent the residents of House District 77, Sidney and Oakland, in the Legislature. I am an independent and always strive to vote for the person I feel will do the best job for all the people of Maine.

First, I admire and appreciate Alan’s service to our country. His service in the Maine National Guard demonstrates he is a dedicated and honorable man. His record shows he was a good steward of the funds and responsibilities entrusted to him.

Second, Alan understands the team concept and stands ready to work with members on both sides of the aisle to move Maine forward. He has some excellent ideas on how to improve the opportunities for employment for Maine people. Jobs in the areas of health care and renewable energy are just two segments of employment where Alan sees great promise for the future. He also understands the importance of continuing to support and strengthen current employment opportunities, especially in small business and agriculture.

I believe that casting a vote for Alan Tibbetts is a vote you will always look back on with pride.
