I am very concerned about the political incorrectness exhibited by Gov. Paul LePage and echoed by Donald Trump. While all of us feel frustrated with life in these United States these days, we should be following the example of the President Barack Obama and take the high road.
I’m not certain what LePage’s psychological diagnosis would be, but he, along with Trump, should be censured for his outrageous behavior. Just because LePage had a black child in his family does not give him permission to denigrate black people. His outcontrollable public rages are unacceptable.
Whatever his good qualities are — and I’m sure he has them — being the governor does not bring them out. He needs to resign.
