FARMINGTON — Hannah Minns scored in the second half to help lift the Mt. Blue field hockey team to a 2-1 victory Oxford Hills in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday afternoon. Samantha Ellis scored in the first half for Mt. Blue (4-0-1). Erika McArthur made 12 saves to earn the victory. Morgan Richardson scored the lone goal for Oxford Hills (3-2-0).

WINSLOW 3, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2: Silver Clukey scored a pair of second-half goals to lift the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Jay.

Maddie Beckwith scored an unassisted goal in the first half for Winslow (3-2-0). Hope Winkin made nine saves.

Alex Bessey had both goals for Spruce Mountain (3-2-0), including one in the final minute.

GIRLS SOCCER

ERSKINE 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Seven players scored for the Eagles in a shutout over the Phoenix.

Lauren Wood had two goals and an assist for Erskine (4-0-0). Kaylee Porter, Alana York and Kayla Hubbard each had a goal and an assist for the Eagles.

Caitlin Labbe made three saves for the shutout. Calley Baker made 27 stops for Spruce Mountain (0-4-0).

WATERVILLE 6, MARANACOOK 0: Anika Elias had three goals and set up another as the Purple Panthers rolled to the KVAC B victory in Readfield.

Sophie Webb added a goal and an assist for Waterville (4-0-0), while Sofie Weston and Mackenzi St. Pierre also scored in the win.

Skyeler Webb had 19 saves for Maranacook (2-1-0).

VALLEY 2, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 1: Haven Mayhew’s goal with 7:54 left in the game pushed the Cavaliers to the Class D win.

Kendra Sweet also scored for Valley. Hannah Goulet tallied the Highview Christian goal.

Alyssa Neal and Rachel Pomerleau combined for 27 saves for Highview Christian. Samantha West made 20 saves for Valley.

CARRABEC 5, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3: Bailey Dunphy scored a pair of goals to help the Cobras take the Mountain Valley Conference win in Rumford.

Skye Welch, Lauren Chestnut and Sophia Tsimekles also scored for Carrabec (1-3-1). Abby Mazza scored two goals for Mountain Valley.

Kelsey Creamer made 11 saves for the Cobras. Hailey McNalley had 14 stops for the Falcons.

MCI 1, MOUNT VIEW 1, OT: Paige Lord converted a penalty kick in the 77th minute to help the Huskies earn the KVAC B draw in Thorndike.

Mount View (0-3-1) opened the scoring on a Cate Arthurs goal in the third minute following a corner kick. Shala Davis made five saves for the Mustangs.

Audrey McCannnell made eight saves for MCI (1-2-1).

CONY 2, SKOWHEGAN 1: Talia Jorgensen and Jillian Coull scored second-half goals to lift the Rams to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Gabby Low had 20 saves for the Rams (1-2-1) while Amber Merry had six for Skowhegan (0-4-0).

Maggie Vigue and Ally Waller had the Cony assists.

Alyssa Everett scored the lone goal for Skowhegan.

WINSLOW 3, NOKOMIS 1: The Black Raiders scored three times in the first half and then held on for the KVAC B win in Newport.

Sarah Guimond, Hailey Grenier and Lidia Santos all scored for Winslow (2-2-0).

Ashley Connor scored for Nokomis (1-2-0) late in the first half to account for the Warriors’ scoring.

BREWER 3, LAWRENCE 1: Jaden Gray scored in the second half for the Bulldogs, but they could not overcome a two-goal halftime deficit in Fairfield.

Hayley Reynolds made eight saves for Lawrence (1-2-1).

Libby Hewes, Maria Low and Hannah Hopkins scored the Brewer (2-2-0) goals.

MCI 6, MOUNT VIEW 1: Antonio Ranea and Devon Varney each scored a pair of goals as the Huskies took the KVAC B win in Pittsfield.

Caleb Romanov had a goal and three assists for MCI (2-1-1), while Brandon Stevens also scored in the win. Aidan Peacock made 10 saves for the Huskies.

Max Tomlinson scored the lone goal for Mount View (0-4-0). Kevin Richards had 12 saves.

ERSKINE 6, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Grayson Petty netted a hat trick and the Eagles rolled to their third consecutive KVAC B win in South China.

Michael Sprague scored two goals for Erskine (3-0-1), while Alex Cleaves also scored. Luke Wilson had three assists in the win.

MT. BLUE 5, OXFORD HILLS 1: Hunter Bolduc had a goal and an assist as the Cougars earned their first KVAC A win of the season.

Sam Smith, Chris Marshall, Alden Thompson-Vought and Andrew Haszko also scored for Mt. Blue (1-1-2). Tucker Carleton made one save in goal.

Spencer Strong scored the lone goal for Oxford Hills.

CAMDEN HILLS 1, MESSALONSKEE 0: Kieran Lydon scored an unassisted goal nine minutes into the second half and the Windjammers made it stand in a KVAC A victory in Camden.

Messalonskee junior goalie Chase Warren had five saves while Lucas Doetsch had three for Camden (4-0-0).

The Eagles dropped to 2-1-1.

CARRABEC 5, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Dustin Crawford had a hat trick and set up another score as the Cobras cruised to the MVC win in North Anson.

Dylan Willette and Cade Chipman also scored for Carrabec (4-1-0), while Seth Padelford made five saves in the win.

Jason Beauchene made 15 saves for Mountain Valley (1-2-1).

CONY 3, SKOWHEGAN 1: Nathan Foye and Jeff Bilodeau scored goals three minutes apart in the second half as the Rams grabbed the KVAC A win in Skowhegan.

Nate Parlin opened the scoring for Cony (3-1-0) in the first minute of play, and Nick Robinson made four saves to earn the win.

Hunter Mushero scored for Skowhegan (0-4-0), which went into halftime even at 1-1. Zach Lynch had 17 saves for the Indians.
