FARMINGTON — A Farm to Table Dinner is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the St. Joseph Parish hall, 133 Middle St.

The dinner will be prepared by guest chef Mike MacNeil and will include cheese, appetizers, local meat entrees, harvest slaw, fall vegetables, and desserts featuring apples and blueberries.

In addition to the food, local musicians will perform at the event.

Participating farms are Berry Farm in Livermore; Ironing Board Farm in Starks; Walnut Ridge Farm in East Wilton; Rustic Roots Farm in Farmington; Sumner Valley Farm in Sumner; Fleur-de-lis Farm in Farmington; Neszinscot Farm in Turner; and the Wilton Blueberry Farm in Wilton.

The Catholic Rural Life Commission will host the event in an effort to help celebrate the many local farms that provide food to area residents.

Tickets cost $15 per person, $10 for college students, and $30 for families of three or more. Proceeds will pay contributing farmers fair market price.
