After reading numerous letters of outrage regarding our governor’s behavior, I believe it is time for a change in Augusta. Do we really want representatives who send insulting emails? Are these the people we want governing our state?
I sent an email to my representative asking that the Legislature sanction or censure the governor, only to receive the reply that the Legislature cannot sanction or censure the governor, but if I came up with something they could do to let him know. Really? Apparently the Legislature does not have what it takes to do the right thing.
So, no incumbents will be getting my vote. It is time to clean house and elect people who will stand up for what is right. Maine has been a laughingstock far too long and we need to say enough is enough.
