OAKLAND — Lydia Dexter had a hat trick, as the senior led Messalonskee to a 7-0 blanking of Lewiston in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A field hockey game on Thursday afternoon.

Sage Knight added two goals for the Eagles (6-2), while Ally Corbett and Megan Quirion had one goal apiece. Julia Vigue made one save in the cage to record the shutout.

Ashley Cronkhite stopped 18 shots for Lewiston (1-7).

MT. BLUE 5, BANGOR 0: Same Ellis and Adele Foss each scored a pair of goals as the Cougars won in Farmington.

Ellie Pelletier also scored for Mt. Blue, which outshot Bangor by a 30-1 margin. Hannah Minns added two assists.

Bangor’s Kahia Maheaux made 20 saves.

SKOWHEGAN 4, OXFORD HILLS 0: Alexis Michonski scored a pair of goals and the Indians blew open a close game in the second half for the KVAC A win in South Paris.

Leah Savage made 13 saves to earn the shutout for Skowhegan (7-1-1), while Julia Steeves and Maliea Kelso each added a goal and an assist.

Oxford Hills dropped to 5-4.

ERSKINE 9, LINCOLN 0: Katelyn Hustus scored five goals and assisted on another as the Eagles cruised to the KVAC B win in South China.

Audrey Jordan added two goals and an assist for Erskine (4-4-0), while Mya Maxim and Sophie Taylor also scored in the win, and Hannah Burns made four saves for the shutout.

Lincoln fell to 1-7-0.

GIRLS SOCCER

MESSALONSKEE 5, BREWER 2: McKenna Brodeur scored two goals to spark the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Brewer.

Fern Calkins, Edin Sisson and Brianne Benecke each added a goal for Messalonskee (4-3-0). Hannah DelGuidice made 14 saves.

Maria Low and Haley Robertson scored for Brewer (3-4-0). Mandy Cuskelly and Jadea Rogers combined to make 13 saves.

ERSKINE 6, BELFAST 1: Six different players scored to lead a balanced attack as the Eagles won the KVAC B game in South China.

AnneMarie Allen, Jordan Jowett, Faith Krause, Kayla Hubbard and Peyton Houghton each scored a goal for Erskine (6-1-1). Caitlin Labbe and Taylor Shute combined to make one save in net.

Faith Beaulieu scored for Belfast (0-8-0). Shera Filt made 14 saves.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2, MOUNT VIEW 1: Spruce Mountain scored twice in the first 45 minutes and held on to beat the Mustangs in Jay.

Rachelle Ravin scored with just over 10 minutes to play for Mount View (3-5-0), while goalkeeper Alexis Bowman made six saves.

LAWRENCE 2, MT. BLUE 0: Hannah Walsh and Jaden Gray scored to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Hayley Reynolds made five saves for Lawrence (2-4-1) to earn the shutout.

Addie Schanz made nine saves for Mt. Blue (2-4-1).

MESSALONSKEE 4, BREWER 1: James Kouletsis had a pair of goals to spark a first-half scoring frenzy and lift the Eagles to the KVAC A victory in Oakland.

Keenan Estes and Dylan Labun added a goal each for the Eagles (5-1-1).

Isaac Small scored for Brewer (2-4-1). Chase Warren made three saves for Messalonskee, and Drew Baker stopped five shots for Brewer.

ERSKINE 3, BELFAST 0: Alex Cleaves scored twice to lead the Eagles to the KVAC B win in Belfast. Sage Hatgood-Belanger had the other goal. David McGraw made two saves for Erskine (5-2-1) while Max Lewis stopped seven shots for Belfast (0-7-0).
