I am very disappointed with a political phone call I answered on Sept. 14. It wasn’t legitimate election polling.
There were a couple positive statements about one candidate. The questioner then proceeded to make highly negative statements about the other candidate in the race. The information in these statements was simply false and disturbingly designed to smear.
The polling firm, represented to me as “US Survey,” cannot be found online. The ugly purpose of these calls is to try to negatively influence your perception about one candidate. Mainers don’t like to be pushed around like this and should not stand for it.
I’ll base my choices on facts. I will continue to strongly support Shenna Bellows for state Senate and her highly positive vision for Maine.
