We went to a local restaurant for lunch, and as I was coming through the door this little girl saw me and came over to hold the two doors for me. I said thank you and said her mother had brought her up right. A lot of people don’t offer to open the door, when I try to hold the door and push the wheelchair, sometimes the door hits me in the back.
We got ready to leave and the waitress came over and said that a lady with two little girls had already paid for it. I was shocked, I was speechless — that doesn’t happen often.
I told people that when you do something good for someone it will come back to you when you least expect it. I hope this lady gets the newspaper so she will know how we appreciated what she did and are very thankful.
