I can’t think of anyone more qualified to be a county commissioner than Paul Frederic, a candidate for commissioner in Somerset County’s District 2.

A retired professor of geography at University of Maine at Farmington who has held offices in town, county and state government, Paul understands how the area’s economy has declined during the past decades, and he has the skills to do something about it. Having owned his own farm in Starks for years, he understands the importance of developing our natural resource sectors, including agriculture, forest products, outdoor recreation and tourism.

Vote for Paul and you’ll be supporting values education and job training. He’s also committed to reducing drug use and crime, and he’ll encourage the growth of programs to improve public health.
