GARDINER — Amber Hill scored with 7.2 seconds left in the second overtime as Waterville stunned Gardiner 2-1 to hand the Tigers their first loss of the season in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B field hockey action Tuesday.
Gardiner (13-1-0) opened the scoring on a goal from Hailee Lovely with 21:09 left in the second half. Jennasea Hubbard tied the game with an unassisted goal with 8:03 remaining, setting up Hill’s game-winner.
Avery Backus made one save for the Tigers while Coby Dangler stopped eight shots for the Purple Panthers (3-10-1).
WINSLOW 4, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Anna Petrovic scored three goals and Haley Ryder added another as the Black Raiders rolled to the KVAC B victory in Winslow.
Hope Winkin had four saves for Winslow (7-6-1). Camden dropped to 4-9-1.
LAWRENCE 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2: Nora Buck had two goals to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC B win in Fairfield.
Elsie Sutty had a goal and an assist for Lawrence (10-4) and Lauren Lambert scored on a penalty stroke.
Sadie Storer had both goals for the Phoenix (9-5). Sydney Shaffer made three saves.

ERSKINE 1, MARANACOOK 0: Alana York scored off an assist from Lauren Wood to give the Eagles the KVAC B win in South China.
Caitlin Labbe made seven saves for Erskine (8-2-2) while Skyeler Webb stopped 17 shots for Maranacook (4-6-2).
WINSLOW 3, BELFAST 2: Sarah Stevens scored the eventual game-winning goal midway through the second half as the Raiders won in Belfast. Katie Doughty and Sara Doughty also scored for Winslow.
WATERVILLE 4, LEAVITT 0: Sophie Webb scored two goals to lead the Purple Panthers in Turner. Anika Elias and Jordan Jabar also scored for Waterville (13-0-0).
Leavitt dropped to 5-6-2.
MADISON 2, MT. ABRAM 0: Jillian Holden scored both goals to pace the host Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.
Madeline Wood added an assist for Madison (12-1-0) while Lauren Hay made eight saves.
Lori Woodcock stopped 18 shots for Mt. Abram (3-6-4).
MT. BLUE 1, OXFORD HILLS 0: Jocelyn Daggett scored an unassisted goal to lift the Cougars to the KVAC A win in Farmington.
Addy Schanz made 14 saves for Mt. Blue (3-8-1) while Krystin Tine stopped six for Oxford Hills (1-11-0).
SKOWHEGAN 2, CONY 0: Alyssa Everett and Sydney Reed each scored a goal to lift the Indians in Skowhegan.
Josie Parker had an assist for Skowhegan (3-9-0) while Amber Merry made two saves.
Gabby Low stopped 16 shots for Cony (1-10-2).
CARRABEC 1, WISCASSET 1: Katrina Mason scored for the Cobras (3-7-3) while Gabby Chapman scored for the Wolverines (5-6-3) in an MVC draw in North Anson.

CAMDEN HILLS 1, MESSALONSKEE 1: Dylan Labun scored to tie the game as the Eagles and Windjammers settled for a KVAC A draw in Oakland.

Havanna Lyman scored for Camden Hills (8-3-1) and Lucas Boetsch stopped four shots.
BREWER 1, LAWRENCE 0 (OT): Spencer Walden scored 28 seconds into overtime to give the Witches the KVAC A victory in Fairfield.
Alex Owens had eight saves for Lawrence (2-10-0) while Jon Wood had four for Brewer (5-5-2).
TEMPLE 4, VALLEY 3: Noah Shepherd scored two goals as Temple prevailed in Bingham. Issac Foshay and Will Paradis also scored the Bereans (8-2-1).
Brandon Thomas, Nathan Ames and Joey Thomas scored for Valley (2-8-2).
MCI 6, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Antonio Ranea scored two goals and Caleb Romanov had a goal and an assist to lead the Huskies to the KVAC victory in Pittsfield. Dakota Patterson, Brandon Stevens and Austin Reynolds also scored for MCI (6-3-3).
Spruce Mountain dropped to 0-12-0.

Brian Hewitt scored off a free kick for Leavitt (3-6-3). Lucas Perry made 11 saves.
TELSTAR 1, MT. ABRAM 0: Kellen True scored with 4:34 remaining in regulation as the Rebels earned the MVC victory in Salem.
Boston Ludder had 16 saves for Telstar (8-5-0) while Xavier Romanoski had four for Mt. Abram (4-7-1).
WISCASSET 2, MADISON/CARRABEC 1: Russell Marr scored two goals and Collin Ranta had 16 saves to lead the Wolverines (7-4-0) to the MVC victory.
