More than 300 walked to End Alzheimer’s

WATERVILLE — More than 300 residents from the Greater Waterville area joined the Alzheimer’s Association’s Kennebec Valley Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 8.

Participants raised more than $52,000 to fund Alzheimer’s Association care, support and research programs, according to a news release from the association.

The event also included an emotional tribute ceremony to honor those who have experienced or are experiencing Alzheimer’s.
