AUGUSTA — A speaker tour for Operation Christmas Child is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Penney Memorial United Baptist Church, 393 Water St.

Alex Nsengimana, whose life was changed when he received a gift-filled shoebox while living in an orphanage in Rwanda, will speak.

The tour will bring together Augusta-area residents who may have been packing shoebox gifts for years and never had the chance to see the impact one gift can bring.
