Residents of Litchfield, Monmouth and Wales will be able to send an exceptional, new representative to Augusta come Election Day.
Kent Ackley, an independent, is running for the Maine House of Representations. He will be a great addition to that body.
Kent is a common-sense candidate with a strong background in business, education and economic development. He is a registered Maine Guide with experience in water quality and other environmental issues. He is a good listener, has a broad perspective and is willing to speak out and act on issues of local and state concern, unlike our current Republican representative.
He is a longtime resident of Monmouth and an independent thinker, not a politician.
