I’m not writing about anything political, controversial or negative. In fact, this is about a very positive experience I had Friday night at the McDonald’s in Winslow.

I had placed my order at the drive-through and proceeded to the window to pay. The cashier told me that the customer in front of me had paid for my order. I’ve done this myself a few times but this was the first time being a recipient of someone’s good will.

I could only thank him from my car window. So I just wanted the man in the red quad-cab Ram truck to know how much I appreciate his kindness. Paying it forward touches everyone. With all that’s going on globally and politically, this renewed my faith in the kindness of strangers. So I hope you’re reading this, man in the red Ram truck. You made my day and made me smile.
