An Arundel woman is being held at York County Jail in Alfred, accused of leaving the scene of an accident and other charges.
The York County Sheriff’s Office said Samantha Cook, 26, was driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee near 172 Campground Road in Arundel when she crashed into trees at about 11 p.m. Saturday.
Police said she walked away toward Limerick Road. Deputy Rachel Horning found Cook about an hour later and arrested her on charges of leaving the crash scene, driving on a suspended registration plate and violating a no-alcohol consumption condition of release.
Cook is being held without bail pending a Monday arraignment.
