A judge on Monday cleared an Augusta woman of a drunken driving charge.

Kendra R. Swails, 29, was found not guilty by Judge Valerie Stanfill following a one-day trial at the Capital Judicial Center.

Swails, who had waived her right to a jury trial, was accused of operating under the influence on Aug. 3, 2015, in Augusta. It was charged as a second offense.

Swails was represented at trial by attorney Darrick Banda.

The prosecutor was Assistant District Attorney Tyler LeClair.
